Byline convention

The almanac publishes under a single house name. Reference works have a long tradition of standing behind their facts as an institution rather than through individual personalities; the publisher is the author, and the editorial standard binds the publisher, not a writer.

What this almanac does not have

• No advertising, no sponsored placements, no affiliate links.
• No booking engine and no commissions — we sell nothing.
• No tracking beyond plain server logs; no account, no newsletter wall.
• No individual bylines, no contributor personas, no stock author photos.
• No syndication feed beyond the sitemap.

Fraunces for display, Source Serif 4 for text, Space Mono for figures and labels. Maps are rendered with MapLibre over CARTO Positron tiles and OpenStreetMap data. Built as a static site and served from the edge.
